Eakadasha is done to worship Shiva Devaru in Rudra form. Rudra Suktham is chanted while performing the Abhishekam to the Shiva linga. By performing Rudrabhishekam, people can please Shiva Devaru also known as Bholenath is a merciful God who gets pleased easily by devotee’s faith and dedication. 

In Rudrabhishekam Pooja, Abhishekam of Shiva lingam is done with Panchamritam and water. Worshipping of all the eleven forms of Rudra is done. After the Avahanam and Sthapana, Laghu-Nyasam is recited followed by Rudra Trishati.

When to Perform Rudrabhishekam Pooja?

• Schedule the pooja date as per the Janma Nakshatra of a person and considering the Yoga, and Thithi of that particular date.
• Mondays, Shravan, Karthika Masam are beneficial to perform Rudrabhishekam.
